I dropped off the same dress and matching jacket twice during my two-week stay in Elmira. The first time the job was done as expected and overnight, which was great. I thought the high-ish price was due to the fact that it was done overnight but when I went to have the set dry cleaned again, it was the same price to have it done no matter how late you picked it up. I sweat a lot, especially since I use this suit for interviews, and it still smelled bad when I picked it up. They offered to do it again, but I was leaving the next morning so I wouldn't have had time to pick it up again. It retrospect I should have gotten the overnight service again since it was the same price anyway and then it could have been cleaned twice, but it was more convenient for me to pick it up the later day and hindsight is 20/20. I recommend a quick sniff test before you take your clothes home. |
