| Darin Prater | I am giving a one star review because I can't give less. I had a brand new suit, shirt, and tie pressed. They had just been purchased the day before and had not been worn. There were no stains or blemishes on any of the garmets. I should have trusted my gut when I first walked into the establishment to drop off the clothes. The shop is extremely filthy, I don't know how anything can come out of there clean. As seen in the below pics, there are black smudges at the top of the third and fourth button holes, and the pocket when I pointed them out the owner, a man forgive for using the term "man" loosely. took the shirt to the back. He came back with the shirt wet around the stains and told me that the stains were black thread. He argued that they did not do it. I know for a fact the shirts did not have theses marks on them. He cussed me when I told him he owed me a shirt. I would have left with my clothes without paying if, I hadn't already payed. He threatened to call the cops on me because he didn't want other customers to hear my complaint. I told him that I would post this review. He stated, go ahead, my customers dont even use computers I guess he thinks everyone is stupid??? My wife and I were in town for a Funeral, even though I from Lima and used to work on the PD there. So I thought it a little bit humerous that he could threaten me with arrest, for communicating my extreme dissatisfaction with his shotty work. Don't use this business unless you enjoy being ripped off!! |
| BreAnna Shore | Out of all of the dry cleaners in Lima, Bob's is the best one. The building is old and a little disheveled but the service and clean was fine. I sent them over 1000 worth of dresses to be cleaned.. just about every single one of them was shrunk or the seams were torn. One dress still had a spot on it; they did take that back no questions asked and it came back clean. Very unfortunate experience because they seemed friendly throughout the process. |
