| Linda wills | We called ETPCS to set up a sitter on August 6th for August 9th. We were going to the Alzheimer's gala in the old city with friends. My mother has Alzheimer's and she lives with us. We had not heard back from them so I called the morning of August 9th and they informed me that indeed we had a sitter - Kayla - from 5pm to 10 pm. We got all dressed and ready to go. 5 pm came and went. By 5:20- we still had no sitter so we called the agency. They said they would contact her and call us back. 5:50pm we still had not heard anything so we called the agency back. They said they could not reach our sitter but offered no alternative. We asked if they could try to find someone else. After another 15 min we still heard nothing so again we called the agency. They said they found no one and could offer no help. Luckily we live in an incredible neighborhood - Conkinnon in Lenoir city. Our neighbors are genuinely interested in helping each other . We made a call to a neighbor , who offered to come sit with my mom so we could go to the gala. East Tennessee personal care service never called the next business day or week to apologize or offer any compensation or even to communicate to us about what had happened. They charge a premium price for sitters and they are a big company but have no customer service or any desire to reach out when they are in the wrong. We are very disappointed with them and their caretakers and service. |
| June G | Contacted this company to get some help for my father-in-law. Was told they would call me back. Waited 3 days did not get a call so I called them back. Was told once again that someone would call me. It has been 3 weeks and have not heard from them yet!!! We were able to get some help but from another agency. Don't waste your time with calling this company. |
