| Allen Harrison | Memorial Day weekend, I wake up on Saturday and walking through the living room I notice that the in floor electrical outlets in the wood floors are sizzling and smoking. After carefully looking, each one had six inches of water in them. I shut off the water to the house, called the insurance company and about 10 minutes later I get a call from Tres Davis, the owner of The Steamery ATX. He arrives to our house in Spicewood about 30 minutes later, starts the remediation of the water that had leaked from a split ice maker hose, cuts out the sheet rock and has dryers and dehumidifiers running to save our cabinets. He explained the entire process, worked with our insurance company and sent his team out to re-install the sheet rock and paint while we await the coverage estimate to have the wood floors replaced. Excellent quality work by he and his team. Very conscientious, knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend The Steamery ATX. |

When I called they didn't have me on the schedule, then told me they needed to change the truck out and would show up around 10:15. I rearranged my day for this and wasn't even given the curtesy of a phone call. I'm all for giving local companies my business but not this one. |
