House Cleaning Services by Texas Pool Guy in Lumberton, Texas

This company was hired by American Home Shield to make repairs to my spa after the breaker tripped and it wouldn't restart in Oct. They found a broken check valve and water in the main circulation pump on the 1st visit. They had to get a new pump and valve and scheduled to return. They were able to make the other pumps work, so left the system running. This caused the heater to overheat because it needs the circulation pump. When they came back with the pump they forgot the check valve they replaced the pump, but the system wouldn't run because of the heater issue. They had to get a new heater and the valve they forgot. After another 2 weeks, they showed up with the heater and not the valve again. They replaced the heater, but the system still wouldn't run, so they trouble shot it and figured out they needed to replace the spa pack and control unit. They had to order parts again but managed to get the circulation pump to run. A few days later, the spa started losing water so I had to shut it off. A month later they show with the spa pack and controller still no check valve, installed the equipment but couldn't check it because they needed to order the parts for the leaky pipes that were dislodged by the pump replacement. Another two weeks later, they tell me to empty the spa so they can make the leak repair. They show up with an epoxy kit and goop it around the leak. Now I need to refill the spa so that it can be tested. They still didn't bring the check valve that started this whole issue. I refill the spa, and turn the system on. It will only run for about 2 minutes and it shuts off. Additionally only 1 of the 4 pumps will run. I'm now looking for a new company to fix their mistakes and maybe get that check valve 3 months later.

I wouldn't recommend this business to my own worst enemy. After Aquarius pool services closed I had to find a new company to maintain my pools at my different locations. Hired Texas pool guy, they've been maintaining my pools for about 6 months now and today I fired them. My pools constantly stay green, I have to beg and plead with them to fix any issues with my equipment. The owner tells me my pools are green from the pollen....Really?!?!...Why werent they green every spring in the past then? This business is full of lies and neglect...I was in a life changing vehicle accident and I was bed ridden for two months at my home. Out of those two months Texas pool guy came and cleaned my pool three times. Unacceptable. I hired Tallman pool services out of Nederland and haven't looked back. The owner of Texas pool guy, David, has harassed me through text after I fired them stating he will sue me for theft of services. Not a good look for him at all considering they haven't serviced my pools hardly at all in the last few months. The technicians they send out look like ex convicts and always have an attitude if you ask them to work on anything. The receptionist says she will order parts or materials for you but never does, same excuses every time. I'm not replying to the owner, if he wishes to take a legal route than so be it. I suggest anyone to do their research, tallman pools are the best around, and did I mention I'm paying them less than I paid Texas pool guy?

TX pool guy was called by my home warranty company. Joe came out at the scheduled time and was very informative about what the problem was and gave pointers as to what to keep an eye on. We are now waiting for parts and a repair date not an issue with TX pool guy but warranty company
