| S Johnson | If you like paying for a service and then having to spend 6 hours of your own time to do the job you just paid for then Dixie Maids is for you. We hired Dixie maids to clean the rental house we were moving out of. Jennifer showed up and was very nice but "forgot" some of her tools and needed to borrow ours, no big deal. We were in the middle of moving to our new house and left Jennifer to clean the house we moved out of. There was so much going on that we decided to pay her plus tip before the job was done.....Big mistake. When we returned to the house we found that she hadn't swept, hadn't vacuumed, hadn't cleaned the showers, hadn't cleaned the baseboards, hadn't cleaned the cabinets and cupboards. When we contacted her about it she denied that she didn't clean but did tell us that our vacuum didn't work so she couldn't vacuum well. When we sent her pictures of the uncleaned house she went radio silent, we never heard another word from her. Its unfortunate because we would have worked through it with her and even paid her more if she had estimated incorrectly. |
