House Cleaning Services by Merry Maids of Lake Stevens in Lake Stevens, Washington

My husband and I moved into our home 5 months ago - but only partially because we were having our laundry/pantry, master bathroom & bedroom completely remodeled. Once the remodeling was finished & we had moved into the rest of the house, I called Merry Maids about doing a deep clean, as well as setting up a twice/month standard cleaning. Aly came out, walked me through all that Merry Maids would do & I was very impressed with her professionalism, clear communication & warm personality. I contracted with her for both the deep & bi-weekly cleanings, as well as a one-time window washing. I was contacted by my cleaning team the morning of their arrival to let me know they were almost to the house. Mara & Allison were both very professional, respectful & ready to get to work. They worked hard for over 5 hours, as everything in the house had over 5 months worth of construction dust & grime. And Brent came & did the windows inside & out. Laura also stopped by to inspect their work & communicated really well with me that if there was anything that we wanted the team to do better, differently or something new, to let her know. I did ask if we could have Allison & Mara back as our team when we begin the standard cleaning in a couple of weeks & she took note of that. Hopefully they will become our regular cleaning team. The house truly sparkled by the time they finished! My husband & I are very impressed with the Lake Stevens Merry Maids staff & with the company as a whole.

Horrible quality of work and terrible customer service. I signed up for a year contract which included an initial deep clean and followed with bi weekly cleanings. The initial deep clean was terrible and you could barely tell that anyone was here let alone a professional cleaner. The manager Alycia Bailey said that since I didn't immediately call to let her know of my disappointment that I am still being charged 350 for it. Then they came out yesterday and did an equally terrible job on our first bi weekly cleaning. Aly sent them back today to fix the bad job and fix it they did NOT. At 165 a cleaning for a PROFESSIONAL cleaning every two weeks 330/month, I feel that my house should be spotless at least when I get home from work the day of the cleaning. This was NOT the case. I was also told that two rooms would be deep cleaned every service and then rotated. I could not see any signs of deep cleaning anywhere in my house. The areas that they did "clean" were left streaky and spotted.

My service crew was hard working and personable. They were willing and responsive to my requests. I do feel a bit more attention to detail could have helped. Found several surfaces that hadn't been fully cleaned and had to request that basic objects be moved to ensure a thorough cleaning as I had engaged for a deep clean.
