So expensive I was in shock. 25.00 for a small shawl, I paid less for the shawl at the store. White shirt from a wedding was still dirty. Lap quilt still has stains in it. Total bill was suppose to be 138.00 WOW, but reduced because of items not clean. I showed them the white shirt that had the collar stain, now it looks all yellow and still dirty. Could have done better with shout out myself. The one woman had a attitude and said go to New London if you don't like it here. If you want me to paid high prices for cleaning, then do your job and dry clean my items. Little princess dress for wedding was 25.00, still has stains in that too. Not happy, very poor quality work.

Overall, we've been satisfied with this place and have brought our clothes here for the past 6+ years.

I chose Martin's cleaners because I wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, I would not recommend getting an area rug cleaned here. I brought in my rug fully vacuumed and free of any debris. When I got home with my "freshly cleaned" rug, I unrolled it and immediately noticed a nasty smell, so I vacuumed the rug thinking that might help. It did not, although I did suck up lots of debris from my "clean"rug. The rug still reeks. Also, this rug has tassels along the border which are now a dirty gray color used to be cream color The whole rug, including the tassels now has a crunchy like texture - like it wasn't thoroughly rinsed. I will now be looking out of town to get this rug re - washed. Very disappointed.
