Larry Adair | great service professional people |
Divonne LaVan | F - I have used this cleaners for over a year. The last time I picked up my clothes, my wife noticed that the lining to her skirt was ripped. I took it back in to let them know and was told that they can not be held responsible for the lining but if it was the skirt, they could make it right. However, the skirt came with a lining and if there is the possibility of ripping it, then you should let your customers know. Of course, I was unaware of this detail. At the minimum, good customer service demands that I should have received a note or phone call letting me know the lining was damaged rather than wait for my wife or me to find it and bring it in on my own so they can tell me that they could not be held responsible for it. Moreover, I would have been willing to let it go as an "isolated incident" if the person seemed even remotely sympathetic and did not talk over me. I am not sure how these companies get away with this standard of service but I, for one, refuse to support it. The lesson here is - if you damage something belonging to a customer, say you did it and if you can't make it right, stop talking long enough to apologize, and if you don't care, fake it. |
